Snowed In

Paige and I are playing hookey today. It's just too darn cold to go outside! We got some snow overnight, but the real danger is the absolutely frigid temperatures. So we're staying in and not doing much of anything. It's 1:30pm and Paige is still in her jammies. I mean really, what's the point of getting dressed? The highlights from today include getting out nearly every toy she owns, spinning in daddy's big office chair, and pushing her car around the house. I'm trying to convince Paige it's just at fun to push the car as it is to ride in it ;) Oh, and getting stuck under her pony Buttercup. Hope you're all staying warm and safe today!

Baptism

Paige was Baptised at the UMC in Riverside on January 4th. She was very good. Chris and I were a little worried about how she would react. In the last couple weeks she's decided that she's not a big fan of water on her head anymore. But she did very well! Thanks to all our friends and family who came to celebrate with us!

Pastor Betsey Neipert performed the Baptism.

Mommy, Daddy, Paige, Pastor Betsey, Aunt Cassie and Uncle Chad.
Aunt Cassie and Uncle Chad have lovingly agreed to be Paige's Godparents.

Daddy's little helper

Paige is such a helpful little girl. She's got to be right there doing whatever it is you're doing. Be it empting the dishwasher, folding clothes, or in this case, assembling a filing cabinet.

New Digs

Nanny and Pappy got Paige a new house for Christmas. She thinks it's pretty cool. And sometimes daddy comes over for a visit.

Farewell 2008!

I know it's a cliche, but my, how time flies! I just can't believe that the year is over. It has been an amazing year for us, and so many of our friends. 2008 has definately been the year of the baby in our circle. So many babies have been born this year, I'm affraid to list them all. I know I'll forget one, or two!

We rang in the New Year with a few of our fellow new parents, and a few who are round two or three. We had a great time seeing the kids all together and had a nice, sober, night!

Paige made a new friend Erin, who did a great job feeding her her bottle and entertaining her most of the night. I think Paige really felt like one of the big kids, she didn't go to sleep til nearly 11 o'clock!

Here are a couple pics, all of the kids of course.

Paige loved her cousin Blake's new Thomas the Train!

The big girls had fun dressing Paige up for New Years.

Hitting the bottle. Party Animal!
